After completing the shoot at Brad's house, I took on the technical responsibilities of obtaining the new footage. Similar to how I had handled Laura's scenes, I moved the footage from the camera to my computer and logged all of the raw footage. Because we were only filming inside the bedroom, the number of clips we captured was smaller than what we had in the first shoot. Even though the total was less, there was still a lot of extra footage that we will not use. I sorted through every single file that was recorded; eventually creating one collection for all of the footage to be reviewed entirely. I spent a fair amount of time watching through all of the takes in order to find the best performances. My objective was to locate the ideal clips for each particular scene, which would tell the story. After I was confident in which clips I wanted to use, I deleted all of the extra clips that weren't needed. Once I had completed selection and deletion, I imported them into After Effects. As I integrated these additional clips into the sequences that I had previously made for Laura, I went through a rigorous and repetitive cycle in which I continued to watch each of Brad's clips over and over in order to find the right places where I needed to cut and/or adjust timing of each cut . I focused on shortening these individual clips so they would provide a tight and professional tempo. Once I got through each of the individual clips and made sure I had trimmed them down to their proper size, I watched the project from beginning to end again in order to ensure the transition from Laura to Brad flowed smoothly. This final review was done to confirm there weren't any mistakes or errors in continuity that I had missed earlier on. During this review, I found a couple of minor areas in which I needed to trim a bit more off in order to make them look right. Once I finalised these there and rewatched them just to double-check they were perfect, it was now time to share my other group members the draft version of the project so that I could get their collective input on the project before moving onto the rest of the filming process together as a group.
