Genre

 Based on our pitch blog, we decided to create a short film about a girl who finds more than herself. The way we chose to do this was through a love story. Meaning that the genre of our short film is romance. During AS level media, we did research on many films ranging genres. Although we didn't do a romance film, we did do research about them, which we used to decide what the genre of our film was.

Pitch A: A group of teenage girls goes on an adventure. Pitch B: A story about how a girl finds more than just herself in life. For pitch A we thought about how we could implement all our friends into one story line that feels like us. I thought about how this could become a full story and how my partners and I could add a different unexpected element to it. Similar to a plot twist Filming this would be so creative as I could work with my closest friends. It would also allow us to be more creative during our film because we are in a natural neutral environment. Pitch B is inspired by recent movies that have just came out over the past year. This idea allows us to step outside our current comfort zone of scary plot lines that we have done over the past. This would also give us a variety of actors and plenty of room to work freely and adjust to any complications that would occur during the filming process.
