 Schedule: We will start filming on 02/21/2026 and end on the same day


12:00 pm: Film Laura's Perspective with Bianca as the main actor

1:00 pm: Film Brad’s Perspective with Rowan (a friend) as the second main actor

2:30 pm: Film meeting scene

3:30 pm: Film date scene

6:30 pm: Film car scene

Locations:

We will begin at Addyson’s house for filming due to the quantity of space and resources that are easily accessible. We will then move to the beach to film the scene where they spot each other from afar. When we are done at the beach, we will then go film at another area of the beach for a date scene. We will then return to the vehicle we are traveling in to film the last scene of both Brad and Laura in the car. 

Participants:

Participants in the movie will include Bianca Pires and Rowan Starks. Behind the camera are Addyson Queen and Lorena Rondon. 

Health and Safety:

We made sure there was always an adult present with us when we were filming. We also made sure that we had a safety kit on us at all times, as well as using the proper safety measures while filming, such as being buckled in while in a car and making sure there's a lifeguard present as we film on the beach.

Props and Costumes:

We won't be using many props, but we will use common daily items that a teenager would use, such as a toothbrush, hairbrush, keys, wallet, and a car.

As for costumes, we will be using daily outfits that consist of sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts, and hoodies. 

Backup Plan:

Many things could occur, such as weather conditions that can not be controlled for outside filming. Our solution is to reschedule for the next day, as it won't take very long while still following all safety measures.

For this film, my group and I used my own camera. So, I had to transfer the videos to my phone and edit the movie. This was a lengthy process but I did a good job. I got all the clips, good and bad, and watched all of them. I got the best clips and left the bloopers and unnatural clips behind. Once I got all the clips and cut some of them for smoother transitions from each scene. I then made sure the lighting was perfect. In some of the clips I did have to edit the coloring to make it appear a little brighter but also still keep that weary effect by making it have a little shadow-like effect.  With that, I moved on to the sounds. For the scene where I am in bed in silence, I wanted to have a glass-breaking sound. So, what I did was when my group went to break the glass for the next scene I recorded the sound on my phone. I then layered that sound onto the film and it came out just as I imagined.

Film Websites and Postcards

  When researching film websites and postcards, I found a website and a postcard for the movie Love, Rosie. The website is pretty simple. It includes the postcard with all the information about the movie, including: Genre: Comedy, Romance; Director: Christian Ditter;  and  Producers:  Robert Kulzer and Simon Brooks. It also included a short description of the movie and a trailer. I liked the addition of the description of the movie, so those who haven't watched it can read it and get intrigued to watch it. Although I think the website itself should've included more information.  The postcard for Love, Rosie included the main actors in an embrace, the title design up front, the actors' names, and a short sentence on the movie topic. I especially liked the short, singular sentence because it can attract people to the movie by making them wonder what it could mean. There wasn't anything I didn't particularly enjoy.
