Filming
After we filmed Laura's bedroom scenes, we moved on to filming Laura's beach scenes. I drove my group members and me to our local beach, knowing there wouldn't be many people there and it would be a perfect setting to film in. Once we got to the beach, we filmed me walking down the beach, which took a couple of takes because Lorena (camera woman) couldn't stop laughing due to the wind. So once we got a hold of ourselves, we managed to get the shot. After that, the next scene was Laura setting down her personal belongings and towel to settle in. Putting down the towel while the camera was rolling was particularly difficult due to the excessive wind. The towel either kept folding onto itself or onto me. So we decided to work with the wind and just cut the camera before the towel got messed up. The next scene was of me setting down the camera, spotting Brad, and running off. This scene took about 6 tries. We couldn't get the camera to have the right lighting, so we adjusted it a couple of times and finally got it. The next blooper was Lorena forgetting to zoom in on the camera in the sand, so we had to reshoot it. This scene was the most difficult due to the fact that I had to grab everything at once, and if we messed up i had to set everything down again. But we finally got it, and the final product came out well. Sand did get in my camera due to it dropping into the sand, so I had to try to get the sand out of the lens to continue filming.
