Production Day

Shortly after filming some initial scenes, Rowan (who plays Brad), Lorena, Addyson, and I met at the beach where we filmed the rest of our scenes as a group. We had all arrived at the beach with a lot of energy, and it showed when we got into our costumes and makeup before stepping out onto the sand together. Originally we planned to complete Brad's individual beach footage first, then move onto our group scenes; however, due to heavy rain that started pouring down shortly after our arrival, we were unable to do that either. Due to weather issues, we tried to switch to filming Brad’s bedroom scenes from his house instead of outside, but further logistical issues arose and made this impossible. Since he lived too far away (1.5 hours), we would have run out of natural light before we ever had a chance to start shooting because Brad’s character’s point-of-view would require a very vibrant and overexposed look. As such, Brad’s second point-of-view will have the film being rescheduled to another day to allow and give us a sufficient amount of time for all wardrobe, location, weather reports and lighting requirements.
