Start Of Filming
Once all our preparations were complete, we started shooting the first scene. This scene occurred in the main character's bedroom. I arranged the room to resemble a sleepover with the characters. I set up cups on the side tables, gathered extra blankets, and added more pillows to the bed. With the room set, we were all set to begin. Someone outside our group was handling the filming for this scene. Along with a few others, I was cast as an actress in this scene. My role involved talking to the side characters and being the main character.. We had a pre-written script for this scene; however, we ultimately decided not to stick to it. We filmed one take following the script, but it felt very forced. After reviewing the take, it also appeared quite awkward. It didn’t match the vibe we aimed to create for the scene, so I thought of an idea. I suggested that we engage in any conversation we preferred for that part of the scene, which would make it feel more genuine since it was spontaneous. We implemented this approach for a few takes, and in our final attempt, the dialogue felt very authentic. For the next section of our script, we did adhere to it. In this part, my lines involved asking if they were hungry and suggesting that i go grab snacks. Consequently, this led to one of the most significant elements of our plot in the following scene. Overall, my primary contribution in this scene was acting and starting the story. After we wrapped up the shooting, we started getting ready for scene two.
