Purpose—The audience needs to read the title and understand the importance of where and why it will be placed.

Working Title: what's really there?

How will the titles enter and leave?

The "Name of the Studio" will appear on the screen when it goes from black to the sky on a cloud. And it will leave when the camera moves down.

The "name of the production company" appears on the side of the house when the camera moves from the sky to the wall underneath the window. It disappears when the camera zooms into the window where the scenes occur.

The "names of the actors" will appear when we see the inside of Haley's Room with everyone in it. And they each will leave when the next person is shown.

The "film title" will appear on the railing where the stairs are. The film title will leave when Bianca's hand covers that specific part of the railing.

The title of "Music By "will be shown when everyone is inside Haley's room with everyone in it. And they each will leave when the next person is shown.

The title of "Music by "will be shown when everyone is asleep, and it will be shown between the girls and Bianca. It will leave when Bianca's front body is shown.

The title of "edited by" will be when Bianca gets up from her side. It will leave when we cut to the next clip.

Then the producer, executive producer, story, written, and directed by, will be shown when the camera moves above her body and will leave when the opening sequence is finished.

Each title should be on the screen for 3-5 seconds.

For this film, my group and I used my own camera. So, I had to transfer the videos to my phone and edit the movie. This was a lengthy process but I did a good job. I got all the clips, good and bad, and watched all of them. I got the best clips and left the bloopers and unnatural clips behind. Once I got all the clips and cut some of them for smoother transitions from each scene. I then made sure the lighting was perfect. In some of the clips I did have to edit the coloring to make it appear a little brighter but also still keep that weary effect by making it have a little shadow-like effect.  With that, I moved on to the sounds. For the scene where I am in bed in silence, I wanted to have a glass-breaking sound. So, what I did was when my group went to break the glass for the next scene I recorded the sound on my phone. I then layered that sound onto the film and it came out just as I imagined.

Film Websites and Postcards

  When researching film websites and postcards, I found a website and a postcard for the movie Love, Rosie. The website is pretty simple. It includes the postcard with all the information about the movie, including: Genre: Comedy, Romance; Director: Christian Ditter;  and  Producers:  Robert Kulzer and Simon Brooks. It also included a short description of the movie and a trailer. I liked the addition of the description of the movie, so those who haven't watched it can read it and get intrigued to watch it. Although I think the website itself should've included more information.  The postcard for Love, Rosie included the main actors in an embrace, the title design up front, the actors' names, and a short sentence on the movie topic. I especially liked the short, singular sentence because it can attract people to the movie by making them wonder what it could mean. There wasn't anything I didn't particularly enjoy.
