Planning Music Video
Props:
We are using red Solo cups for the soda drinks. For food, we have Papa John. I wore a party hat from Kasey's closet when dancing. For the music, we used a JBL box speaker.
Costumes: In our music video, our costumes were casual party attire. I decided to wear jeans and a long tight t-shirt, and so did the rest of the girls except for Addyson, who whore shorts and a crop top. Some of the girls also wore jackets since it was a little cold.
Schedule:
On 11/6.24, we did our research for conventions and codes of ways to shoot the video.
On 11/11/24, our group will establish props, costumes, locations, and backup plans.
On 11/13/24, our group will create a 12-box storyboard for our music video.
On 11/23/24, our group will film all the scenes needed.
On 121/1/24, our group will finish editing the video and add the backtrack song to the production.
Location: Our main location was Kasey's backyard. Her backyard consists of a pool, a dining area, a kitchen area, a lounging area, a fireplace, and a TV. We will film our characters mostly around the dining and pool area. This will help emphasize that the music video was filmed at a house with friends, food, and drinks.
Backup Plan: If it's cold outside, I will provide a new setting. In my backyard, I also have a pool and a lounging area. Kasey will help film scenes of people near the grass dancing. People in the pool are swimming and having fun. If one of our members is absent, then we would ask other people to help fill in so the music video isn't empty.
