Planning For Redbull Commercial

 Props:

Since my group is doing a Red Bull commercial, our main prop is a Red Bull drink. Because we will be playing sports, we will also have basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, pickle balls, and other sports equipment.

Costumes:

Because we are playing sports, the actors will be wearing athletic clothes. This includes shorts, tank tops, and t-shirts. They will also be wearing running shoes. The actor playing volleyball will be wearing knee pads. Actors will also be wearing ponytails or braids.

Schedule:

9/12/24- my group researches other commercials and conventions

9/13/24- my group plans our props, costumes, equipment, location, and backup plan

9/19/24- our group will create the storyboard

9/23/24- our group will film and record the shots necessary for our commercial

9/25/24- our group will make the final edits and tweaks of our commercial

Location list:

Our location will be a community park. The park has a basketball court, pickleball court, field, and volleyball court. One will also be wearing running shoes. An actor playing volleyball will be wearing knee pads. Actors will also be wearing ponytails or braids.

Location list:

Our location will be a community park. The park has a basketball court, pickleball court, field, and volleyball court. This is the most convenient because we will be able to film the whole commercial at one location. This will help us show that all different kinds of athletes can enjoy a Red Bull drink for energy, so they can play their best.

Backup plan:

If the weather does not work out in our favor, then we will go to an indoor gym and film there. We would just film our actors playing basketball and volleyball. If one of the actors cannot come, then we will switch off filming and acting. The same thing would happen if a camera woman is absent.

For this film, my group and I used my own camera. So, I had to transfer the videos to my phone and edit the movie. This was a lengthy process but I did a good job. I got all the clips, good and bad, and watched all of them. I got the best clips and left the bloopers and unnatural clips behind. Once I got all the clips and cut some of them for smoother transitions from each scene. I then made sure the lighting was perfect. In some of the clips I did have to edit the coloring to make it appear a little brighter but also still keep that weary effect by making it have a little shadow-like effect.  With that, I moved on to the sounds. For the scene where I am in bed in silence, I wanted to have a glass-breaking sound. So, what I did was when my group went to break the glass for the next scene I recorded the sound on my phone. I then layered that sound onto the film and it came out just as I imagined.

Film Websites and Postcards

  When researching film websites and postcards, I found a website and a postcard for the movie Love, Rosie. The website is pretty simple. It includes the postcard with all the information about the movie, including: Genre: Comedy, Romance; Director: Christian Ditter;  and  Producers:  Robert Kulzer and Simon Brooks. It also included a short description of the movie and a trailer. I liked the addition of the description of the movie, so those who haven't watched it can read it and get intrigued to watch it. Although I think the website itself should've included more information.  The postcard for Love, Rosie included the main actors in an embrace, the title design up front, the actors' names, and a short sentence on the movie topic. I especially liked the short, singular sentence because it can attract people to the movie by making them wonder what it could mean. There wasn't anything I didn't particularly enjoy.
